Kimono Dress Redwoods Engagement Photos at Robert's Regional Park⎜Chi + Kael

The Redwoods are always an awesome setting for engagement photos and Robert’s Regional Park in Oakland is one of my fav locations. I’ll often get photos here with lots of sunset goodness but cloudy weather makes for an equally beautiful lighting situation! I’m so glad Chi and Kael were happy to come out for their engagement session despite the cloudy, slightly chilly weather. I love Chi’s amazing kimono dress-I can’t get over how adorable these two are! 💕 I also love how amazing they were at falling into poses- esp. my most ridiculous ones 😜

Engagement Photos at Sibley Park in Oakland⎜Luna and Maggie

I’m not gonna lie. Amongst everything else going on, these past few months have been heartbreaking for me as a wedding photographer. After a slew of back to back wedding cancellations, it felt good to dust off the cameras and get out and photograph some beautiful smiling faces. Luna and Maggie wanted their engagement photos to include lots of nature. Luckily the Bay Area has some amazing parks with wide open areas! (enough for proper social distancing, of course). Dancing is a big part of their lives so they “practiced” their first dance song atop the beautiful hills in Sibley park while the sun set. Nothing more magical than that 💕.
