The Pearl is an awesome rooftop wedding venue in San Francisco Dogpatch. A gorgeous place for a covid safe ceremony and reception! It was an amazingly sunny day which matched their beautiful colorful flowers! After having to postpone, I’m so happy these two were able to celebrate this year and enjoy the day with their close friends and family. Congratulations Gaelen and Adam! 🥰

Kimono Dress Redwoods Engagement Photos at Robert's Regional Park⎜Chi + Kael
The Redwoods are always an awesome setting for engagement photos and Robert’s Regional Park in Oakland is one of my fav locations. I’ll often get photos here with lots of sunset goodness but cloudy weather makes for an equally beautiful lighting situation! I’m so glad Chi and Kael were happy to come out for their engagement session despite the cloudy, slightly chilly weather. I love Chi’s amazing kimono dress-I can’t get over how adorable these two are! 💕 I also love how amazing they were at falling into poses- esp. my most ridiculous ones 😜

Last week we went out to Jewel Lake off the Wildcat creek trail at Tilden Park in Berkeley for some family photos. Little Cora was not feeling the photo vibe and just wanted to enjoy the nature! But I managed to sneak some pics of her cute little face in between! Small Bay Area Micro Wedding in San Jose Backyard⎜Catie + Tim
I’ve done quite a few small back yard weddings in the Bay Area now and have been amazed at some of the transformations I’ve seen! This wedding was no different. Between the gorgeous floral archways, water fountain adorned with floating flowers and tables full of food [Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme] you’d never know this wedding was held in a San Jose home. I’m so glad Catie and Tim were able to have their celebration this year. The day was perfect and worked out beautifully! Engagement Photos at Sibley Park in Oakland⎜Luna and Maggie
An engagement session featuring these two lovely brides to be practicing their first dance atop the green hills in Oakland.
I’m not gonna lie. Amongst everything else going on, these past few months have been heartbreaking for me as a wedding photographer. After a slew of back to back wedding cancellations, it felt good to dust off the cameras and get out and photograph some beautiful smiling faces. Luna and Maggie wanted their engagement photos to include lots of nature. Luckily the Bay Area has some amazing parks with wide open areas! (enough for proper social distancing, of course). Dancing is a big part of their lives so they “practiced” their first dance song atop the beautiful hills in Sibley park while the sun set. Nothing more magical than that 💕. A super science filled nerdy Berkeley wedding at the Lawrence Hall of Science.
I really love the Lawrence Hall of Science as a wedding venue. It's one of the coolest Berkeley wedding venues!
It calls to my inner nerdy scientist, despite how I try to suppress her. To add to that, Emily and Andrew dolled it up with a fair share of super nerdy decor. I think my favorite is the "nerds" test tube wedding favors (which I used for my ring shot!) Also, have to mention the lab guest book with a great set of instructions! :P To top that off, the Hall of Science has views of the Bay Area that you can't beat for your wedding ceremony! Emily and Andrew definitely weren't afraid to get silly for their wedding photos and I lovingly included a lot of those shots in here (you know how much I love the silly) Please enjoy a small snippet of their beautiful nerdy science wedding!
