This intimate backyard wedding in Lafayette was adorable.

Couples often seem self conscious if their wedding is small or "non-traditional". (Not that these two felt that way, but it just made me think of some of the times this was the case) What they don't know is that I absolutely LOVE small weddings. There's something extra special about a smaller wedding. We usually find ourselves having the luxury of time, the overall vibe is calm and laid back, and Geo and I feel more like we're a part of the wedding. This wedding was no different! We really really enjoyed capturing and being a part of Alison and Joseph's special day. Alison's parent's Lafayette yard was beautiful and their families were a joy to be around. We even stuck around after our time was done and chatted everyone up for a bit! Congratulations again to Alison and Joseph!
